I went here back in 2015/16 for a massage - I had an ongoing problem with my shoulder following a car accident 18 months before and physio hadn’t helped. After my massage I was covered in bruises and wondered whether I had made a mistake. But no. I had healed completely the next day and never had the pain again. Really amazing. I’m going back with a new injury this week and will leave another review after seeing how it goes! Jan 2022- Just to confirm that following my second visit (for tinnitus and a neck problem) again I was better! The tinnitus was much worse for around a day and then vanished. The treatment was massage and acupuncture.

She is without a doubt very good at what she does. Her father was a traditional Chinese doctor as well so she's been around it for a very long time. Unlike some Chinese doctors who practice in this country who come straight from the Chinese schools of medicine after qualifying, Dr Zhu had worked at Chinese hospitals for many years before coming here. She's a published author and gets very good results. She's helped me personally with long term issues around my joints, posture and muscle tears. My son had a skin condition that dermatologists could do nothing about and Dr Zhu was the only one to make a difference. She's obviously not good at self marketing and the business side of things but for actual results she's the best traditional Chinese medicine doctor I've seen.

Bad experience. Just dropped in for a back and shoulder massage. The tools used scratched the back of my neck. The room smelt of damp and looked a mess. I stopped 5 mins into the treatment as I couldn’t bare my neck being scratched any longer. Lady was very rude and had the nerve to still ask me to pay!!! Will not be returning.

I've been seeing Dr Zhu since she took over lavender clinic. I've seen many acupuncturists and I can say Dr Zhu is one of the best. I always feel better after her treatments. and when my back has been bad or work stressful Dr Zhu has always eased things with acupuncture. herbs and massage. She is always caring and generous with her time. She is also a very intuitive practitioner as she finds the cause of problems/ knows the right place to massage to relieve the pain. This is not a easy skill which I know as I'm a practioner myself.
