Good news!!! I have been frustrated like most over the past couple years trying to book appointments, on occasions giving up because I couldn’t get through. Laurel House now have a new booking system which I have used over the past couple of weeks which really works well. Filling in the online form is straight forward. The query is triaged and directed to an appropriate person. If not urgent it is dealt with within a couple of days. This is long overdue, however it is here now and it is working. Well done Laurel House👍

4 days post C-section, I notice my scar had become infected, I rang and asked to have a call back off the gp, receptionist said to call 111 - I had already spoke to 111 on the Sunday before about another issue, the 111 service told me to contact my gp for further issues when it wasn’t the weekend, the receptionist accused me of lying because she hadn’t had the report from “that day” even though I was saw by out of hours Sunday. I was told to go back to where they did my C-section, I told my community midwife this is what I was told. My community midwife seemed amused as she said wards on the hospital are swamped, they wouldn’t re admit me & it was a gp issue. I then had to sit in A&E for 5 hours, with a 5 day old baby to get my infection dressed and antibiotics so it didn’t become septic. I am currently in the process of making a formal complaint, seeking advice against the GMC as leaving a patient with an infected oozing wound, being told that’s not worthy to go on the urgent list - is wrong.

I was seen by the doctor today. Very mischievous, telling me it's late considering that we waited 30 minutes over the appointed time. He didn't have the patience at all to listen to my symptoms. Will action ever be taken?

This doctors is now an absolute disgrace,,, I’ve been with them for nine years plus, they used to be really good,,on the phone for over an hour and a half to be told there are no appointments,,the new automated booking in system doesn’t seem to work ( I followed all the instructions,,told by the system I would receive a call back but never got one,,so when I questioned it with reception at the end of the day they told me I wasn’t even listed for a call back ),,if your looking for a new doctors ,go elsewhere,,,,not worth even one star

Registered with this practice, never been seen once, also left a letter with reception, from my opticians, called in after several months,to ask for original letter ,so i can go private, only to be told we have sent your letter back to your home address, complete liars and totally rubbish, after seeking help else where ,another optician is very concerned and going to fast track me personally,to birmingham specialist, thats how serious this has now become, disgusting third world surgery ,avoid at all costs.

I’ve been a patient here for three years and I have to say the staff and Doctors are great but there process for repeat prescriptions is absolutely dire. I’ve been an asthmatic for over 40 years and have always had the blue inhaler “ ventolin” and ordered a repeat and got the brown one instead and trying to order repeats for insulin and diabetic meds is just as bad !!!!!

Absolutely joke of a doctors!!! DO NOT CHOOSE THIS PRACTICE! Nothing but problem after problem. Receptionists are rude! Doctors need to go back to uni with clearly no clue other than a text book! Been with these my whole life was only a good practice when DR Killeen was there! Will be moving and definatly wouldn't recommend.

This surgery should be closed receptionists are rude and make you feel like you shouldn't even be ringing for an appointment. that's when you even manage to speak to someone, and even if you do you can't see a doctor anyway. And they wonder why people are dying 😡
