Laura is a fantastic teacher. I have never been confident with singing and have done my best to avoid it over the years despite playing guitar for nearly 40 years. I recently joined a new band and providing harmony backing vocals was a requirement that I could no longer avoid. Laura has taken me from having no confidence in my singing ability to being able to sign live in less than 6 months. The way Laura really listens and understands what I would like to get out of singing and the constraints I need to do it in (live in a band whilst playing guitar) is brilliant. She provides real world tips to help overcome problems I encounter during a performance. Laura is really easy to get on with and the lessons always strike a great balance between being professional and great fun. Laura breaks things down into small achievable steps and explains the reasoning and mechanics behind it, but always keeps things musical and pushes me to get into the song and go for it. Laura is really supportive and I leave every lesson feeling like I have progressed and full of enthusiasm. Thank you Laura for helping me achieve something that I really didn’t think I could.
