Da fühle ich mich doch irgendwie hinters Licht geführt, wenn nun noch weitere 18 € hinzukommen. Für 27 € (Porto + Zoll + Auslagepauschale (?) wofür auch immer) hätte ich die Ware auf keinen Fall bestellt, denn für diese Auslagen hätte ich 200g Wolle kaufen können. Dies wird meine 1. und auch einzige Bestellung bei Ihrer Firma gewesen sein.

This is only mentioned on the shop's website on the "postage costs" page, I consider this to be fraudulent in connection with the German-language website. I gritted my teeth and paid because otherwise I probably wouldn't have gotten the money for the wool refunded. Ich habe ein sehr hochwertiges Garn gekauft, das bei laughing hens günstiger war als in anderen Shops, dazu gab es 10% Rabatt bei Newsletter-Abo. Soweit, so gut - nach 3 Tagen kam das böse Erwachen: Eine Rechnung vom deutschen Zoll über 68,54€ Zollgebühren, da die Ware aus Großbritannien kommt. Dies ist auf der Website des Shops lediglich auf der Seite „Portokosten“ erwähnt, dies halte ich in Verbindung mit der deutschsprachigen Website für Betrug. Zähneknirschend habe ich gezahlt, da ich sonst vermutlich das Geld für die Wolle nicht erstattet bekommen hätte.

  I ordered an Addi Express machine, the order was recieved promptly and the item arrived in good shape. I'm usually leery about ordering items from oversees and shipped to USA. I will definitely be recommending and ordering from Laughing Hens. Thank you

  Clearly Customer Service is not emphasized like it is in 99.9 % of other OnLine business. After waiting almost 2 weeks to receive my one pair of knitting needles for Christmas project, I was finally given the the name of the carrier whose website showed package hadn’t even left GB yet?! When I asked if this could be checked on or a replacement be expedited I was told, No it wasn’t possible to check and if I had wanted expedited shipping I should have ordered it that way, really?! Their website didn’t even offer that option to start with and then not even caring enough to call carrier and check on it either?! No apology and I still have not received package but they have my money. Disgraceful customer service and absolutely NO customer appreciation! Minus Zero stars - ⭐️ wasn’t an option but should be.

  Horrible, horrible, horrible customer service with my mail order purchase and return. Dreadful and appalling communications and response time to emails. It took nearly TWO MONTHS and constant follow ups to receive a refund for my unused items. I would have left ZERO stars if it were possible.

  Laughing Hens gave me the best price (including international shipping!) for the yarn I needed. The package arrived ahead of schedule. I couldn't ask for a better experience. In future, if my local yarn shop doesn't stock what I need I'll certainly go back to Laughing Hens.

  If I could give no stars I would. I ordered and paid for a pattern to be downloaded on 17 April (I have the receipt of payment) and am still waiting for the pattern. I have emailed about this and received no reply.

  I had never heard of this shop when I ordered some extra long dpns (Addi, 40cm), which I couldn't find anywhere else in all 8 sizes. They were shipped promptly and arrived at my door here in the US after about a week. They appear to have a huge selection of everything knitterly, so I'll very likely shop with them again. A+
