Went in to arrange an appointment, was asked questions by the receptionist, told her I was having joint pain in my hands and she made me an appointment at melton hospital for 6.30pm. Thought that was pretty great, until I got to the hospital and the doctor told me he couldn't do anything and he didn't understand why I was sent there as he deals with more urgent/emergency cases and that latham house do this all the time, not only wasting my time but the doctors time as well. This wouldn't have happened if the receptionist had listened in the first place and made me a gp appointment as I asked. Ps it was obvious that it wasn't an emergency as I walked into latham house reception at 10am spoke to a receptionist and my appointment was made for 6.30pm.

What has happened to Latham House? Called to say I'd liek to simply talk to a doctor, I was told by Helen on reception that it'll be a month to 'talk' to a doctor and 2 months to 'see' a doctor.... Wait's this long completely negate the NHS and what are we paying for? No other service would be allowed to operate in such a way. Just tried calling back today as still unwell and advise I am in a call in above 30 people....what the lord is going on there?

I don't know if it's the fault of the NHS or just Latham House Medical Practice but from my wife's experience over the last few weeks I can say one big Circus. I will not write anything else because there are no words that would describe the work of this place. I wonder what our insurance money is being spent on. I don't know if complaining to the NHS will help, but it's worth a try.

When iturn up for an appointment I'm made to sit and wait 45 mins after appointment time. Then I turn up 10 mins late, made to wait 40 mins to be told I can't be seen till 18th April. Useless. Better off using a walk in centre. Place is getting worse

A few days ago while in town I began to feel unwell when I suddenly felt like I was walking up an invisible flight of stairs then everything started to go black, I don't really remember much else after that until I realised that I was in the care of Suzy and her team from Latham House, Dispite being very busy the care I received was second to none, And it didn't stop there, I also received on going help and support from Nikki Woodhouse So I really would like to thank you all from the bottom of my heart...

You cannot get hold of anyone on the phone for hours. Attitude from reception staff is not helpful when a walk in from one of their patients especially a 9 year old boy who is clearly unwell.
