I completed an eyelash extension course. Unfortunately I was giving lots poor information relating to patch test requirements, and cleaning and sterilisation of tools used for this treatment. My Beauty college tutor and other professionals in this industry and insurance companies were absolutely appalled when I told them about this course and the information I had received. A patch test is a legal requirement and on this course I was told you do not have to carry them out and you do not have to clean your tools in between clients.This is a major health and safety concern especially with COVID. Infection control should e spot on!! I paid £500 for this course and received a little hand sized bag for a kit with all the contents hanging out of it. I had to also complain due to being made to feel not good enough as jokes were also made about my eyesight. Please chose carefully when your spending lots of money on courses. I was also given incorrect information when I asked who the certificate was accredited by. Do your research and select courses wisely. I have had to spend more money on further courses.
