Unfortunately wouldn't recommend Las Iguanas. The waitress tonight was extremely cold and rude to us refusing to even smile on top of that she made us calculate our bill ourselves which is unbelievable for all of us together which took us at least half an hour to calculate. She Refused to put on the student discount that was available on unidays. After we showed us the discount codes, she also made us apply our own student discount and work out what 30% off the bill is ourselves rather than just calculating it on the till? When I asked her directly if about this, she said she "wouldn't be able to do that." How so? When countless other restaurants we have been to have had no issue with this whatsoever? I imagine before we had smartphones that Las Iguanas would have done what they were supposed to and actually calculated the bill WE ARE PAYING FOR. I can only put it down to complete laziness. Absolutely unbelievable. I would have liked to see them try that lazy trick on older people who don't have phones! We didn't need to sit for half an hour on our phones calculating a bill. If we didn't have phones on us what would we have done then? Pen and paper? It's absolutely ludicrous to expect customers to do that on a night out. What next? Expecting us to do the dishes? I very nearly complained about her absolute refusal to help us with anything. Unfortunately I didn't recall her name. While the food and atmosphere was nice the service was a definite let down and I won't be coming back until you employ people who have some decency. On top of that they had the absolute audacity to stick on a massive service charge. All I can say is that I wish we had seen all the 1 star reviews before deciding to come here.
