DO NOT USE THIS WEBSITE!!!! POSSIBLE SCAM!! Would give 0 if possible. Laptop damaged in transit, price went from over £70 to £10 - wouldn’t show me damaged they listed after inspection, couldn’t get through on phone and chat person was very very rude. Had to request laptop back. AVOID AVOID AVOID!

If it was possible to give no stars I would . I bought a laptop for £340 reconditioned for my mum , it almost immediately began getting issues . Random crashes etc but would always restart and then work for a bit . Eventually it wouldn’t start at all ‘ no bootable device found ‘ We were told to return as it was under warranty . It went missing for a week in their care and then they claimed we had been inside it . Why would we when it was under warranty ????. They refused to repair it and have sent it back with a screw hanging out the bottom , the whole base of it buckled and a massive lump of plastic missing . I am beyond furious . DO NOT EVER TRUST THIS COMPANY !! Additional : laptops direct contacted myself , told me it was damaged in transit or I’d been inside it . When asked to supply photos of the damaged parcel .. or indeed the parts that are missing they ignored me . They made me use Yodel which don’t cover more than £50 .. which I can’t even get that as they won’t supply the pictures of the damaged parcel ! next step .. Trading Standards . It might not help me but may help some other poor person who deals with these Date of experience: 01 May 2023

Bought a laptop which was broken on arrival. Was told by laptops direct to go to Lenovo. I contacted Lenovo who confirmed the laptop was over a year out of warranty... I'm now left to sort this mess out. Even though the price and spec was good I would avoid as it's a false economy. Go to John Lewis and get the after market service.

Don’t bother trading in used equipment with this company. They halved their original valuation of my laptop based on fabricated ‘wearing’ and ‘marks’, I have now requested they send it back to me which renders this a total waste of time. Feels like a very dishonest experience.

Rubbish company, would not recommend at all. Sent my laptop off with a quote of £140, they then received it and made up all these false issues and quoted £10. Received it back and checked over my laptop and none of the issues they had found were even remotely visible, meaning they had made them up. They also kept my Macbook Box that I sent it with, and didn’t allow me to have it back. A scam.

Ordered Mac Mini M2 512gb with next day delivery. Next day delivery was missed and recieved a Mac Mini M2 256gb, it's going to take a week to resolve and no urgency from them to fix the issue.

I ordered a 32" monitor on 28th of February, laptopsdirect processed my order and as of the 12th of April they still haven't received the product in their stock. The delivery date constantly keeps getting pushed out, week after week. I called them and they said it will be with them on the 19th of April, ironically a day before it will be delivered here in Dublin and yet they said to allow for 10 workings days for delivery to the EU from the UK. Never order from this crowd. Over two months for a computer order is a disgrace. I'd pick 0 stars out of 5 if it would let me.
