Went to see my friend today.he told me on few occasion at night he pressed his bell for help going to toilet he waited nearly hour before anyone came to see him. When they did come they told him he never pressed his bell which is not true.same thing happened last night to him.I've been reading what happened to one lady her daughter secretly recorded it plus when they get their food is cold seen it for myself.I most certainly wouldn't reccomend this nursing home to anyone.went to see my friend today he was very stressed he was trying to use urinal bottle which he couldn't I went to get nurse she said she was busy and would have to wait I said to her he is desperate for a wee so she eventually help him.so we were talkin when the nurse left I could get smell from him I said to him how often do you get showered here. His reply to me was showered. I never get a shower he told me.so I went to managers office and told her my friend smelled she said to me I'll make sure he get showered after your gone.I will see tomorrow if he did get showered.

My mother (bedbound with dementia) was admitted to above care home on 21 August 2015. She is currently in hospital with grade 4 Pressure ulcers and infection. And not responding to treatment. Falsification of care records From the time my mother was admitted she was scheduled to be repositioned every two hours because she arrived from hospital with some pressure sores one on her sacrum and some on her feet which were healed during the first few weeks of her stay. By middle of December she had developed (as reported by TVN and continuing care team) brand new grade 3+ pressure sores on her sacral area and her feet/ankle. My mother was supposed to have been on a two-hour repositioning from day 1 (21 August 2015). They have ticked all the right boxes on the forms, that is how they know she was repositioned. However I visited my mother daily and I have dozens of photos as evidence to prove that she was almost never repositioned. Always in the same position. They only started repositioning my mother when she developed the very serious new pressure ulcers. (I have time and dated photos to confirm and contrast the two sets of photos when she was and was not repositioned. However All the boxes were ticked on her care plan to confirm she was repositioned. 2) Gross failure in care When the care home started finally repositioning my mother (this time hourly) they also started storing her catheter drainage bag inside her bed on the same level as her bladder hence exposing her to infection. I wrote to the care home and raised the issue on 3 Feb 2015 They in response accused me of having instructed the "senior nurse" to store the urine bag in her bed. (!!).when relatives called to visit my mother on 5 and 7 February they once again found the catheter drainage bag back in her bed. My mother was transferred to the Royal Free Hospital with what has been described as some if the most serious done to the bone pressure ulcers they have seen. She also has sepsis. Currently on antibiotics and not responding to treatment. The two instances of failure in care I mentioned above are the most serious. However there were others which I continually reported to the care home and I have evidence. Please contact me if you would like further information or evidence.
