Martin Geoghegan acted as valuer/surveyor and negotiator in connection with the lease extension on our Wimbledon apartment. Following an initial visit and valuation, for which he let us have a very full and professional report, he then entered into negotiations on the premium with our landlords, an experienced property company. These people proved to be difficult, not to say formidable adversaries and employed the usual diversionary, delaying tactics. Mr Geoghegan followed our instructions to be patient, persistent, polite, and objective, and at the end of several months of hard work he succeeded in presenting us with a solution that was more than satisfactory to us, and which we were happy to accept. In our opinion he is a first class negotiator, and has in addition a very pleasant manner. We would be delighted to recommend him further.

I worked with Landmark on a complicated flat purchase. They did the initial homebuyers survey, and then I used them three times more, first to value and negotiate the extension of a very short lease, then to value and negotiate the purchase of the freehold for the property, and then after that to do a schedule of conditions survey on the upstairs flat before commencing building work. It's testament to how fantastic Martin Geoghegan was that I kept going back! At all times he was helpful and responsive, explaining things clearly to me and always returning my calls promptly. He managed to get things done to tight deadlines and - I'm sure - saved me a lot of money in the process. If I need any more surveys doing I will most definitely be going back again!
