We’ve been here 5 times! It is a fantastic base to explore this area. Carsington Water, Ilam, Heights of Abraham, Dovedale, Tissington Trail are all close by. Crich Tramway museum is outstanding. Chatsworth and Lyme Park a bit further. Perfect place for children. The cabins are all clean, comfortable and it’s quiet at night. We always sleep well here. The pool is small but excellent. There are activities, like archery, you can book.
