Originally, I thought it was in a town and it is a hall, what else could I ask for and gave it five stars But then u came to a realisation; Lancaster is a city, not a town. Unfortunately, this was not something I could overlook. However, it is still a hall, so I must give credit where it’s due.

An excellent building architecturally speaking. Sadly, Lancaster City Council need to work a lot harder at improving the environment of the city and wider district. Key issues: Decaying buildings in Lancaster and Morecambe. Heavy amounts of litter in Lancaster and especially Morecambe. Too much sub-standard housing in need of improvement in Morecambe and student areas of Lancaster. Poverty issues in Morecambe. Poor condition of roads, especially in more deprived parts of the district.
