    I've had an account at lamps for around 5 years now and found them to be very efficient, they have a good a good range and decent stock levels with most item's I need coming straight off the shelf. When they do need to order in items they usually arrive in the time frame they suggest and call me promptly when come into branch All in all very helpful and professional.

    I met an older gentleman called Fred. I'm not sure what Fred's problem is, but he is an excruciatingly rude man who shouted at me for parking by this business for under 5 mins while the business I was interviewing for was finding me a space. (Abundance of spare parking in photo. I told Fred I'd just dash in to my interview to ask them to give me a parking space, in response Fred offered me some abuse, listed below: "You ought to get your glasses cleaned." "What a state you're in." "Total disgrace." Meanwhile the office staff laughed at me out the first floor window. I am shocked by how rude and pathetic LAMPS employees are.

    Don't bother spending a penny with this wholesaler, I reckon they are on the brink of going under or something. Like one of the other reviewers I've noticed a lot of the same things but one thing in particular really was unacceptable to me, and my electrician thought the same. Service levels are poor, they seems to tell your electrician whatever they want to hear to secure a sale, and then when it comes to collecting the goods or products they just back track and you realise they were utter liars, they don't have the stock! Charming since when it comes to us end users, every single day of extra waiting around costs a lot of money. My electrician was chasing them, instead of them infroming him and his apprentice of when the goods would eventually turn up. Go to another wholesaler, heaven knows there are hundreds of them. My electrician got so fed up with them he went elsewhere and within 24 hours had the products we needed for my home (at keener pricing). S.E

    I've really not been impressed with Lamps. They seem to have lots of stock discrepancies and say they have things in stock that they don't! They don't phone back when they say they will and in general I've found them not to be very helpful. I would recommend looking/going elsewhere!
