Lovely little place for a family 70th birthday celebration. Lammingtons came highly recommended and it did not disappoint. Beautifully presented afternoon tea with enough delicious sandwiches and sweet treats to feed a small army (certainly satisfied us six hungry ladies with some left to spare). Mark was very welcoming, friendly and polite and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to others and will certainly visit again. Til next time….x

9 friends celebrating a 70th birthday. We all agreed it was the best afternoon tea we had ever had. The sandwiches and cakes were sublime with a couple of surprise treats included. Mark was so accommodating, allowing us to come early to put up balloons etc. even lending us scissors and helping hang the birthday sign. During tea Mark was so attentive and nothing was too much trouble, he even changed one of the tables for a bigger one when it became available. Having been to Lamingtons many years ago I certainly won’t leave it so long again, making it a go to destination, especially as they serve food all day. Thank you Mark for making our afternoon so special X

Wow! So much to love about this place. Lovely little tea room in the village. Pre-booked their afternoon tea (for a Saturday) – glad we did because it’s clearly popular!. Once seated we were offered a glass of non-alcoholic prosecco - a nice touch. Onto the main event – the afternoon tea platter was loaded with beautiful savoury sandwiches, scones and cakes…….my goodness the cakes/deserts were amazing!. Tea was served in proper tea pots with bone china/porcelain cups and saucers – perfect! My friend and I couldn’t eat everything (there was so much!) but they kindly gave us bags to take the remaining cakes home with us. The guy running front of house was so friendly & helpful! I will definitely be going back – looking forward to trying a slice of the banana bread I spotted in the display counter - one of the many cakes I might add! Deelish!

A gorgeous team room! With excellent cake options and all the hot drinks you could want! The staff are fantastic and so thoughtful and helpful! We were cycling to Brighton and stopped in, they filled up our water bottles and encouraged us on our journey! Will definitely stop on again if cycling past!
