Popped in for a pint. Good drop of beer. Lovely old fashioned interior. The young barman really needs to listen to the customers order though. Service : 2/5 | Location : 5/5 … More

Nice building, went on a Saturday evening around 9, and was told we couldn't sit at an empty table, because the waiter wanted to set it up for food for the next morning, so we didn't bother to order food that evening, or any other. Way to get rid of customers to suit your own purposes fella. How unwelcoming. response to owners response - regardless of kitchen closing times, if there are no tables available in the bar area, why would you tell a customer that tomorrows customer is more important than the current one, that the current one would have to stand around waiting for a bar table, or just leave.. just so that a staff member can finsh earlier. other people ordered food whilst we were there, therefore it mustve been before 9.

We spent one night in an Annex room to meet family. My husband is not very mobile due to hip problems so the wet room and disabled car parking space were invaluable. The room was large, clean and comfortable. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The food was standard pub grub and generally okay. I stayed at the Lamb Hotel this weekend with my mum and sister for my mum's 80th birthday present. We could not fault the hotel at all!. Lovely friendly staff, nothing was too much trouble and the food was hot and tasty, in fact we choose to eat there Friday, Saturday and Sunday lunchtime. Thank you all for helping make my mums weekend so lovely, would definitely recommend and we will be back 🙂
