What a brilliant place so peaceful .sunflower lodge is absolutely amazing everything you could need for your stay. site is spotless .the fishing was great plenty of carp out between 4 and 16 lb .great stay can't wait to return will be booking again soon for sure .didnt have the pleasure of meeting the owners .but the nice chap in the lake side van gave us a nice welcome and told us what we needed to know overall 10/10 for me . We just got back from a little get away with our friends and partners we stayed in the sunflower lodge and it was absolutely brilliant Amy and Paul couldn’t have done enough for us they were lovely and welcoming when we needed them !! The views all round are beautiful wish we could have stayed longer but we will be going back in September and it can’t come quick enough !! it was peaceful and calming a lovely place to relax was beautiful day and night Thank you !! 😁 Rooms: The rooms were spotless and very comfortable very spacious and the whole cabin was beautiful!!

Annoying when you pay a significant amount to stay there and the main bay by the house (where every large fish remain most of the time) is taken by a tent for the whole time from the owners friend when 1) no tents allowed and 2) guests pay for facilities but he pitches up at best location for the whole week because owners are away. Not a single bite in four days as all fish stay up by the house! If you do visit, get fishing by the house as nothing in the rest of the lake!

Me and partner have just got back from a 3 day stay here! Our second time here and it was just how it was the first time we came! We stayed in the dragonfly cabin and We love it here. Stayed here last week in October ,just beautiful, the owners and staff are so friendly and accommodating ,the log cabins are the closest things ever ,wood burners , WiFi , and fishing right off the veranda , beautiful place and one of the best places to go night fishing ever !already booked to go back this month !!
