I was having a chat to some other plotholders who, like me, are rightly upset about the condition of several unattended plots which, are a bloody disgrace, I am reliably informed that in some cases the Rent has been paid, but, I am also reliably informed that, in the rules of Tenancy the plot should be at least 75% cultivated, which, in most cases is not happening, now, if these individuals no longer wish to keep their plots, I do not understand why they don't give them up, I am also aware that their might be a very good reason for non cultivation, if so, the committee should be made aware, bearing in mind that I am told their is a waiting list of approx 300 this is a situation that should not exist, keeping one's own plot free of weeds is difficult enough but when they invade from other plots it is bloody annoying to say the least. !!!
