I completed a work experience at Lakefield and i was greeted with smiles and immense support. The staff made me feel very comfortable and involved me into their work very quickly. The college’s passion of food and hospitality is evident and the quality of the expertise is very high. Working in both kitchen and food service department gave me a lot of insight and the staff always kindly made sure i understood any instructions they gave whenever i wasn’t sure. I would highly recommend work experience at Lakefield as you would gain access to learning practical skills necessary.

This place is an absolute joke. Don’t waste your time here. i booked and applied for a space for work experiance, had an interview, waited for a booking form, sent my vc, all of this just to get an email says after waiting, that i haven’t been accepted due to shortage of space. they told me this AFTER i had filled in everything. i now have an empty spot in work experiance and i have been left stranded. the service is horrible and i don’t recommend it. don’t apply here

I came here many years ago as a student and now I teach here. It is a wonderful place to study. It is small so each student gets individual attention and all the help they need to bring out the best in them not only as a future good professional but also a good human being.

I came here to apply for a level one diploma and they've turned me down instantly due to other students favourited more than others due to race age gender an culinary industry for women other than that there are some nice people I've met in interview day when it came to eating there at the end of class there was barely anyone that took interest in me they all left me out the conversation the only interest was if my name stood for something and some students dislike me for no apparent reason.
