    This was my first trip to England, I visited Oxford. Right at the start of the main street, Laird Hatters caught my eye with their funky yet fascinating building. I have always wanted a bowler hat, and nearly got one. But right as I walked in, I was welcomed by two lovely sales associates, Charlotte and Sara, and they sized me up immediately and handed me the perfect size peaked cap, the “Shelby”. I have to admit that I have never found a perfectly fitting, accurately coloured, tailored hat before. Charlotte and Sara were both very welcome, fun and helpful with trying out different styles and making me feel welcome. And once I saw that the hat read “Made in England”, they had themselves a sale. If you’re looking for an English hat, this is the place to be.
