staff members can sometimes be nice but a few are horrible, especially the man who complains every time your ticket doesn't work. staff are mostly arrogant, negative and lazy despite their life's success amounting to working in an Essex commuter station.

Laindon station is pretty much a regular small town train station with only one real gripe. My biggest complaint with the station is to do with the ticket machines. There's actually only two at the station with one of them being inaccessible if one of the entrances is shut. Normally at the weekends there's only the one machine available which leads to a massive queue that stretches down the road. I've been stuck in this before for about 15 or 20 minutes so definitely leave earlier because you end up missing a train. Even when there are two ticket machines, there's sometimes an instance where one of them is broken, which then once again leads to massive queues. They need to invest in at least one more ticket machine for the station because it gets silly sometimes. It became so much of a problem for me that I just grabbed a C2C Smart Card and now buy tickets with that.

Unbelievable. 3 staff .Two chatting. Not serving . Only one serving 🤯. Allow an extra half hour on your journey too 45 minutes , if you need a ticket from the human run kiosk at Laindon Station. . The staff should get retrained on how to work more efficiently and effectively. Terrible service . Terrible attitude.

As usual lazy staff not at work. Happens far too often. Queue like the exodus from Ukraine. Disgusted. Machine needs a degree in computer science, if not for a kind lady would have cancelled journey.
