I had dinner here yesterday and it was so wonderful. The service was really great as well. The food came so quickly. The food generally was really well priced. Lamb biriyani 5/5 - super yummy and large portion, came with extremely delicious daal as a free side dish Tarka daal 5/5 - incredibly flavoursome and complex. the fresh garnishings pulled it together perfectly Prawn curry 5/5 - perfectly cooked and spiced. Really generous portion. Channa masala 4.5/5 - perfectly spiced and had some of the most tender chickpeas I’ve ever had the pleasure of tasting. I rated this 4.5 instead of 5 bc I did find that it was a little bit oily Tandoori lamb chunks 3.5/5 - were a little tough for my liking however they were perfectly spiced Keema naan 3/5 - it’s maybe not the kind of texture I’m used to from naan and it was a little heavy for me. It was still delicious but it just didn’t look like it taste like naan? Mayje it’s just a preference thing idk Overall the experience was great and I can’t wait to come back. Thank you so much!

Loved our meal. We'd ridden by bus past this popular restaurant many times and finally stopped. Loved our meal. Small space but super clean and smelled wonderful. Every set of diners looked happy with their meal. We shared papadoms, Karahai Chicken, pilau rice, roti and naan between two people and had some to take home. Shared the delicious rice pudding - loved it too. Cash only but ATM nearby. Agree- it's a total find! I've travelled a bit and this restaurant hit all the things I look for - locally owned, locals as customers, clean space, and proud owners. Great pricing and smiles from a happy staff. Vegetarian options: Many vegetarian options.
