I genuinely become more disappointed the more I use this service. If you want to talk to the receptionist be prepared to wait 30 minutes at a minimum, for a GP we are talking days. If you want an admin task completed, be prepared to wait 1/2 business weeks. I am currently on day 9 at this point. Most people reading this would be sacked if they took 9 days for a admin task. It’s embarrassing. Unfortunately it’s the nearest service within 3 miles for me that were still taking people on when I was looking for a GP. On the plus side the living well partnership try to use the other sites to fill gaps if you need an emergency appointment. Try being the key word. Do better lady’s walk.

Absolutely shocking surgery!! My confused and poorly father has entered the surgery alone today feeling frightened because he has passed out twice (once for half an hour!!) and they have sent him back home to do an e-consult. Where the hell is the duty of care?! Sending a vulnerable man with a heart condition away from the surgery to walk back home again on his own knowing that he has been passing out!? This surgery is the worst that I have ever been unfortunate enough to encounter. Reporting!!! Edited to add that after years of awful care here, snippets of which I will add below, my father has finally left this surgery. The care he has since been receiving at Thornhill has been phenomenal and is a standard of care to aspire to! I would HIGHLY recommend that Ladies Walk engage in discussions with Thornhill in order to critically review their own practices and make essential changes. At 62 years old and suffering from extreme arthritic pain a GP at Ladies Walk told my father that she wouldn’t give him a sick note because he could change his full time manual job and work in a cafe for a few hours a day! He was suffering a flare in pain that made it difficult for him to stand and walk for 20 minutes! After a flu infection and struggling with fever and chesty cough he was sent for a chest x-ray. He didn’t hear anything from the GP surgery so called them a week later to be told by a receptionist that his x-ray was clear. Still extremely ill 3 weeks after that he went back to the GP to find that his x-ray was in fact NOT clear and he had been left suffering pneumonia for all that time. He was given antibiotics but the infection had scarred so badly that his lungs have been affected since. At 68 years old and suffering chronic cough he was prescribed medication for something else that is contraindicated in people with chronic cough. The cough worsened to an extreme level, sometimes making him sick and always restricting his ability to leave the house. He was prescribed several different inhalers over 12 months with no improvement. On transfer to Thornhill surgery he was taken off the contraindicated medication and his cough improved over the course of one month to a mild level. After receiving an apology from the practice for sending him away alone knowing he was having fainting attacks he witnessed the reception staff treating another patient in exactly the same way. This was the last straw for him and he found a new GP surgery to transfer to immediately. There is no support here for elderly or tech naïve patients to access GP appointments. My father is a polite gentleman but was consistently met with rude, abrasive, unreasonably defensive receptionists who were unwilling to help him access care that he desperately needed. His health has improved dramatically since leaving this practice. Ladies Walk - DO BETTER!

Would give a minus number if possible.. one year here still never seen a GP.. 111 said get an urgent appointment with GP.. rang them and they said GP would call back one week later and still waiting. Guess we have different meanings to the word "urgent", let's hope the nerve damage I have doesn't get too bad by the time they bother to get back to me.

Blood test results on Patient Access came back as abnormal. Phoned for a follow up, told to use econsult. Waited three days to receive a text from a GP telling me they are normal and in future to use the Patient Access App to view my results. I explained on econsult my concern as my father has a blood disorder which could be genetic. I looked back at previous blood results and in Feb 2022 I noticed bloods came back the same, abnormal but this wasn't followed up! I looked the other day and they've disappeared i am on the verge of alerting CQC. To not be telephoned to discuss your concerns is appalling.

The. service prior to my mother passing was not good and its not improved. I need the practice (manager) to fulfil the FOI
