After our favourite Italian restaurant closed down during lockdown we were looking for a new family Italian restaurant. We researched online and found La Stalla, so we decided to book a table for dinner one evening. We were warmly greeted by the waitress and shown to our table. The owner also introduced herself and came over to chat with us for a short while. We ordered a 3 course meal and each meal was very well presented and tasted devine, you could tell a lot of effort had gone in to preparing the food and everything was freshly done. We wanted something that was not on the menu, but they were more than happy to cook it, it seemed that nothing was to much too much trouble. During our meal the waitress and owner regularly checked with us to make sure everything was ok but they did not over do it. The restaurant itself is very quaint with lots of nice little touches to make it an authentic experience as possible. All in all, great food, great service and we cannot wait to go back, we highly recommend. Thank you guys, we had a wonderful evening, see you again soon. Brigitte & Stephen x

Went on the off chance Wednesday evening, 10th May. Found out there was a new owner who was also the chef. Food was multi bene, very good. The food isn’t typical Italian only, and the chef prides himself on the food he produces. I thoroughly recommend. The waiter entertains as he waits which is an experience on its own.

From the moment I arrived, Paulina was warm, welcoming, and attentive to my needs. She expertly guided me through the menu, making recommendations and answering any questions I had with a smile. Throughout my meal, Paulina continued to provide excellent service, ensuring that my food was cooked to perfection and my glass never went empty. We had a lovely dinner at La Stella, from the moment we walked in it felt like we were given the five star treatment. The waiter was very attentive and accommodating. Nothing where's too much trouble. The chef himself came out to greet us and explained the specials available on the menu. I had the John Dory fish, cooked fresh on the specials menu. Amazing flavour, cooked to perfection. You can tell they really care about your experience, it's a perfect family restaurant, using fresh ingredients. Will definitely be making this place a regular.
