Met a friend here for lunch. Ordered a Lentil Soup and a beer. The soup was warm, no where near hot, and it was out of a can. The bread was a regular slice of white bread, and past its best. We then had tea and cake. The tea was disgusting - it was a horrid grey colour, never had such a poor cup of tea. The lemon cake was ok, but again past its best. The only positive is that it was cheap. Soup was £4.50 ,but could easily have made a fresh soup and sold it for that price. The tea was£1.90, but again, a decent tea bag costs what, 0.02p?? Staff were pleasant, but the place was very dark and dingy around the till area, and food on display did not look at all appetising. Will not be back. Parking: No parking, Its on the high street
