Went to the Amsterdam Inn for family meal on Saturday night. It was really busy but we got a table. There was a bit of a queue to the bar but it was expected from a Saturday night few weeks before Christmas. The wine was good and very reasonably priced. My lamb shank was really nice. Beef bourguingon looked on a dry side but the atmosphere in the pub was lovely so it made up for the small imperfections with some of the meals. The pub is also very dog friendly; even dog toys are available! Massive thumbs up!

Came here for lunch on our last day in Brighton and we're so glad we got to try it out. Service was super friendly and the food was delicious and authentic. We had the polpette al basilico, malloreddus campidanese and pizza diavola, all of which were flavourful and delicious, but we highly recommend the meatballs! We were too full for dessert unfortunately but we will be visiting again when we come back to Brighton.
