Visited on Thursday night with out of town friends. It was our first visit to this excellent establishment. I had the Calamari followed by the medium/rare Rump Steak in a Wine and Mushroom sauce with a Garden Salad and divine green and black pitted olives. My DH and friends opted to share a 12" Garlic and Cheese Pizza. DH also had the same Rump Steak in a Peppercorn Sauce with Double dipped chunky chips. Our Friends decided on the Nicola Pasta with Steak tips and a Prawn Pasta. The Steaks and their sauces were done to perfection exactly how we asked and portions of Pasta were huge. The Calamari was the best I had ever had and my DH and friends simply adored their food where they all made a very concerted effort in trying to eat everything on their plates. The owner/chef stopped by our table asking if our food was alright as I opted to take mine and my DH steak and salad home. I was not going to waste this sublime food. DH and one of our friends even found room for Dessert, a Cheesecake and Tiramasu. They were transported by the sound of humming noises whilst consuming the delicious and decadent desserts. I thoroughly enjoyed the Disaranno Coffee Liqueur. The price of this feast was soooo reasonable the proportions are certainly not stinted on. And a not so unreasonable tip showed our appreciation. I must admit I would have liked to have looked at a Wine and Beverage Menu but the food was the star of the show. The Staff were so attentive and Professional and could not be faulted. The upside you can always ring the Restaurant and order a particular favourite Steak and they will purchase it to your liking. How we managed to reserve a Table at this establishment at short notice is beyond me. I am surprised patrons are not forming a queue out of the door just waiting to eat at this Excellent Eatery. This is the best kept secret in North Yorkshire and we have found our All Time Best Italian Restaurant where we hope to return in the not so distant future.

Easter 2023. Family day out. Very stylish recently decorated interior. Had the risotto king prawn chicken chorizo. Others Ravioli and chicken. Very good quality ingredients and house wines very reasonable . Good service and only down side it is a bit out of the way but if you are traveling through M62 or A1 definitely a visit very worthwhile. Disability access looked good also . K
