Staffing is atrocious and those that remain are fed up of dealing with irate customers all day every day. Let's be fair - there are some really good staff here - what few of them remain that is. Queuing for over 20-30 mins is the norm here now. Constant issues at the counter (surgeries blame pharmacy and pharmacy blame surgeries....it's crazy!) They MUST staff this place properly and get back to being as good as they once were.

They have a separate Pharmacy and Medicine counter but the medicine counter is NEVER STAFFED....? So the queues for both are just ridiculous, I've had to que over 50 minutes...! While other staff are standing at the Perfumes and Toiletries counter doing nothing.

Long, Long, Slow Moving Queues. Only 2/3 of the counters being manned too, so it's quicker to use Superdrug, Morrisons or Crossley Street Surgery. The casual staff at Boots try to probe you for your medical history to buy over the counter ointments, and can have an aloof attitude when issues arise. Also, it's difficult to obtain your prescription due to them regularly never having items in stock. What used to take 10 minutes can now be measured in days. Bad experience on all fronts. Update, went in there again today and still the same. Long queues and only 2 out of 3 counters are staffed. I once heard them say they were unable to recruit staff, which is clearly untrue. The long queues and waits are planned, for reasons known only to them.

Wetherby Boots is just the most pleasant place to shop/collect prescriptions. The staff are exemplary and the manager is an inspiration. Everyone is pleasant despite a lot of moaning customers. Well done 👍
