Nice furniture shop,some items are second hand at a discount and new furniture, all reasonably priced. The owner is knowledgeable, direct, honest and friendly; I had my new mattress delivered quickly at no extra expense, was solid firm quality and cheaper than online. Recommended

I love this shop ! It's been there for longer than just about anything else in the area. The guy that runs the shop is fantastic, super helpful and friendly, and delivers furniture to you himself ! Items are good quality and reasonably priced. I've had two mattresses from there in the last 10 years or so and they're the best. Much better than ridiculously over-priced John Lewis & the rest. I hope LH Cook is on Portobello Road for many more years to come (and not turned into another Cup Cake or Coffee Shop) !
