On Monday my a/c on my e class stopped working (red light blinking) whilst searching the net for possible solutions I seem a advert for a free A/C check being offered by Kwik Fit and dually booked the car in. On Tuesday took the car in and having told the guy in reception the issue he stated they couldn't do anything with my car and it needed to go to a a/c specialist. This was without getting out of his chair or seeing the car. I stated the most likely issue was just a lack of gas and asked was it not possible to check the gas levels and regas the system if required. He stated all they can do is regas and have no facility to check the system which is strange. Yesterday I phoned a local guy in Shard End called Dans air who fitted me in at his home workshop and within 20 mins had checked the system and refilled the gas. Seems to me their ply of a free check is complete bollox and they can't actually do any testing and just want you to pay for a refill which I would happily have done had that fault been diagnosed. For a major Hight street brand the level of service offered in my opinion was poor and I won't be using them in future

Had all 4 tyres changed today the customer service I received was fantastic. Conor and the tyre fitter worked together to get all the tyres on my car in no time at all and I was very impressed with the team work. Overall a very impressive visit and I'll be sure to call again.
