I cannot fault this company. Bernard designed the most beautiful kitchen totally suited to our needs, offering ideas and solutions to optimize all of the available space. I was always made more than welcome in the showroom or on the phone with queries and questions. Both Bernard and Paul took a pro active interest in the progress of the work. All of the trade professionals (kitchen fitter, electrician, plumbers, floor layers) communicated with each other. I didn't have to become involved or chase at any time, as they all communicated with each other to make sure no days/times/appointments were missed. All the trades people were polite, respectful, friendly and Shane the kitchen fitter managed to find solutions and creative ideas for some tricky areas in the kitchen. Rhys electrician sorted out long standing problems with my electrics after me having struggled and paid for previous electricians who never properly diagnosed the issues. This company is totally professional, involved and efficient. They take a pride in their work to the benefit of the customer. I am very happy with my new kitchen. We decided to change our kitchen and looked at various different suppliers. After meeting Bernard and the team at Westcliff there was only one choice for who we would get our kitchen through. From the initial design phase with Bernard, through to the fitting by Shane, everything went according to plan. The design was well thought out, and nothing was too much trouble, we settled on a design and everything was ready to go. The week of the install arrived, and the kitchen arrived from Germany with all the cabinets already built. The quality of the cabinets was far above what we had seen elsewhere. Admittedly the cabinets arrived a day early, but this didn't cause too much trouble. Shane started the fitting and everything just "slotted in". The fit and finish are second to none for the price. Overall it was a relatively smooth installation, a few hiccups here and there, but one of the easier home improvements we have had. UPDATE: We needed to change the floor (not fitted by Kutchenhaus), and had to have our island/table temporarily removed. This was arranged by Bernard and Paul and carried out by Shane. Appointed Kutchenhaus to design, supply & install my new kitchen and utility room late last year. The end result is more than i hoped for. Shane (fitter) did an amazing job and was always on time, clean and professional. Paul & Bernard from the showroom were very helpful with good suggestions and when finished left me feeling very happy. I would definitely recommend this company for anyone thinking of a new kitchen. I have worked with many companies and tradespeople in the construction industry and have never come across a company so outstanding. They have patience all the way from design to installation. Job gets finished 100% to the last screw. Come back for any slight issue. Can custom modify anything customer wishes. Competitive in price and outstanding in quality. All in all a cut above. Having contacted nationally advertised firms and having been left confused by pricing and generally underwhelmed, I put the project on hold. I noticed Kutchenhaus by chance whilst travelling to Southend and decided to pop in. From the outset, it was a positive experience with staff more keen to identify my needs rather than close a deal which appears to be the default approach in bigger retailers. I duly returned to put together a plan with Bernard. I was guided and supported throughout and felt that my tastes and preferences were respected. It is true to say that the completed plan was exactly what I had hoped for with some welcome and insightful additions that I hadn't thought of. Needless to say I proceeded with the order which was completed seamlessly and with great care. Delivery and fitting arrived within the promised timescales and installation was carried out by their in-house fitter Shane. His skill and meticulous attention to detail were impressive and reassuring. He went about the work in a cheerful and organised fashion keeping me informed throughout. What could have been a chore was actually a pleasant experience. I am delighted with my kitchen which in the end cost no more than some of the so-called special offers.I would recommend Kutchenhaus Southend without reservation. Right from the start Paul and his assistant Pat gave me confidence to try out all sorts of ideas and gradually I settled for a more continental style kitchen. The kitchen looks very sleek, and the induction hob with downdraft extractor fan is brilliant and compliments the design. Shane who fitted the kitchen was very professional and friendly.
