Really disappointed! I came here for the first time a couple of weeks ago because of the amazing reviews but sadly I was let down. I showed the stylist an inspiration photo (2 times) I wanted an ombré/balayage effect. I told the hairdresser about previous hair colour etc. I then left the salon with too much dye on my hair, it looked nice but it wasn’t really what I wanted but I figured the unwanted colour would grow out eventually anyway. However the next morning I woke up with bright orange patchy hair! I sent them pictures the next day and they offered me a retone but after that experience I was too scared to go back. I then asked for a partial refund for the hair colour via Facebook messenger and I was ignored. Since then I got 2 other hairdressers opinions and also told them my colour history to which they said, my hair should not have turned orange. Baring in mind, I did not wash my hair after this appointment or put any products on it. Thankfully I’m in a good position to be able to get my hair redone by somebody else otherwise I’d be walking around with orange hair and £100 looser. Service: Hair coloring

They take the time to listen to your requirements, and consult on achieving the best outcome. I visited today after a six month break due to redundancy, and left feeling like a goddess. I’ve been going to Kuru for over 15 years. Prices are definitely reasonable in the current economic climate. My stylist is Yas and she’s brilliant. Over the years I’ve had cuts, colours, extensions, and I’ve always been a happy customer! She listens to what you ask for, is very professional, friendly, and easy to chat to. Recently the salon was taken under new ownership.. I’m not usually a person who likes change, but the transition has been so smooth and the very few changes made have been really positive ones (like the online booking system - fantastic idea) and the new owner is lovely.. Would absolutely recommend!
