Many years ago, Kursaal charged me for refilling a digger when I had filled it up. I was too busy to complain and I couldn't be bothered to make a thing of it. I'm very much a "Once bitten, twice shy" kind-of-guy. Due to the current hard ground conditions, I was falling behind on a project. Travis Perkins & Jewson didn't have any machines available, so I thought I'd give Kursaal another chance. The machine arrived the next morning. Steve was friendly and helpful, taking me thorugh the machine's operation. There was an issue with the machine in the middle of the hire period. Steve came out within 30 minutes and fixed it. He got me to test it and even went back to his van to save me the embarrisment over my poor operator skills! When Steve collected it, we were talking and I happened to mention the diesel issue from long ago. He prommised to knock off some money on this hire. When Sophie phoned to settle up, he was true to his word and I got a 10% discount. Thank you. Will I be back: Yes Value for money: 9.5/10.

This is the third time we have rented Kursaals' mini digger and 1 tonne dumper, we have our own horse paddocks locally and have used them for general clearance and drainage/soakaway digging etc. The service is second to none, they always turn up when they say they will, both for drop off and collection, and the machines are always clean and serviced ready to go. We already have them booked for our next lot of works.
