Kovacs extended my kitchen, worked on my garden and refurbished my bathroom. Friendly and professional builders, I'm very pleased with the work. Any snags that came up during the process or concerns I had were dealt with very quickly. Although the work wasn't cheap, I felt that I was getting a very professional service with regular updates. Their builders were also very considerate with my neighbours, who worked from home during the building work. Would definitely use them again.

We hired Kovacs Construction to do our side extension in July 2019. There were major construction errors from the start, including the removal of the wall that should not have been removed, which threatened the structural stability of the entire house. There were countless mistakes and errors like this – both major and minor — throughout tour time working with the Kovacs. However, we continued to work with them as per our contract. Just after Christmas of that year, we received a text message from our neighbor saying that the builders were leaving the site. They literally packed up and left with the house gaping open in the middle of winter. Numerous attempts to contact them failed as they refused to answer any text or phone calls. We were unable to locate them physically as the address listed is a actually PO Box. To make matters worse, there were things missing from the house including lights and tools. It has taken me this long to write this review because I was so upset by the whole situation; however, I feel it is my obligation to alert potential clients.

Don't be fooled by awards from a certain website, you simply cannot leave a negative review there about Kovacs Construction Ltd. Maybe something to do with advertising payments. Employ them only if you want your house to be ruined, otherwise avoid these people at any cost.
