July '21: Very tasty and original Greek flavours, reminded me of home. The staff were polite and helpful. Excellent quality and fair prices. Definitely going back for more. Edit sept '21: went back for the second time looking forward to the yummy greek dishes. Totally disappointed. 90% of chicken gyros had fried skins and barely any edible meat. Gyros is not supposed to have any skins. Fried fresh King prawns, which we were told to try as a day special, had a weird taste and a gooey texture. Prawns are not like that, sorry. Diet coke was a couple of months away from expiration date, had a taste as if its been in the sun too long. Spanakopita was morphed into fried spanakopitakia not baked as i thought. We left leaving most of them, ate only the salad, the saganaki, spinach pies and the chips. Maybe it was a bad day but it definitely makes me not to visit again. I always try to leave a fair review but that meal couldn't be saved by the starters only. Maybe in the future I'll try it again.

We are so happy to have stumbled across Kouros on our wedding day! Great authentic Greek food and wonderful staff. Me and my husband were on the way to a hotel after our wedding and were starving, saw the 'Greek Street Food' sign and pulled in to grab something quick to eat. The staff were very welcoming, and when we mentioned we'd just got married gave us some delicious meze on the house including dolmades (vine leaves) and butter beans plus baklava and orange cake for pudding. We also had the spanakopita and tyropitakia, spinach pies and feta pies, which were fantastic. I used to live in Athens and have really struggled to find good Greek food in Manchester where we live, so we are going be regulars at Kouros from now on. Ευχαριστώ πολύ to the Kourous team for making our special day even more special with your great food and hospitality. Love Lauren and Amer the newlyweds - looking forward to seeing you again soon :-)
