Our visit to Kori was not planned and we found it randomly. It is a great place for authentic Korean food. I really enjoyed both dishes - rich flavours, no unecessary bling bling with the way it was presented. It felt like eating at your good friends home. The friend who cooks well! The interior is cosy and not overloaded. The team was friendly and created a pleasant environment where you have some privacy but there is always someone nearby in case you need some help. Very happy overall - can recommend to you with full confidence.

Had a great lunch here with my friend on Bank Holiday Monday. Although it was busy with deliveroos and other customers, the food arrived in a timely manner and the service was great. The restaurant was clean and and was definitely hygienic, so not sure what the below person is talking about and reading that made me want to add my two cents as I thought it was unfair and false. And we were there when they walked in and the boy was definitely more than 'a little upset' although that wasn't his fault.

AVOID!!! Myself and my family decided to come and eat at KORI Bournemouth as it’s a fairly new restaurant. Also we are trying to support new and small businesses. HOWEVER we had an awful experience. I was with my husband and my 5 year old non - verbal autistic son, my little boy was a little unsettled and upset. I tried to calm him down. We placed a large order of food and drinks, ranging from starters and mains. Once all our food arrived we were asked to leave the restaurant. The owner said my sons behaviour was stopping new customers from coming in as well as disturbing customers in his restaurant. HOWEVER it was on my family plus 1 single guy in the whole restaurant. The whole time we were there no one came to the restaurant. I agreed to leave and asked for the bill. I also explained my son is autistic and the restaurant was empty which was a reflection on his business not my sons behaviour. Also to add I found hair in my rice, I politely moved it to one side and did not say anything as I’m not the type to make big things out of something small or upset people, now thinking about it maybe I should of questioned the hygiene part of his restaurant. I hardly touched my food as we were asked to leave and it completely affected my appetite. I completely understand that sometimes kids crying can be a little distracting or annoying HOWEVER at the time we were at the restaurant it was only my family and 1 other person. It’s hard enough being a parent to an autistic child, I was really upset and we felt discriminated. This place is unhygienic and has awful customer service . For these reasons being and my overall experience, I now understand why the restaurant was empty.

Excellent and authentic Korean food. The bibimbap is served perfectly, and all the dishes we had were very tasty. I can recommend the kimchi jeon, fried chicken, beef bibimbap, osam bulgogi, and bulgogi.

We was a large group of 10 who came here on our last night and so glad we did. the food was just fantastic! I’m Asian and love to travel for good food. This was well worth coming to. The Korean chicken was especially spectacular! Don’t miss this place when you’re In Bournemouth! Lovely casual place with super staff & owners.
