I started training at this dojo having watched the rest of my family train here & thinking that I should be doing it as well. I have not looked back! All the instructors & other students are fantastic, knowledgeable, supportive and friendly with no egos allowed in the dojo! Sensei Kershaw being an 8th Dan & Karate champion is second to none in experience & understanding of this martial art, you will not find finer instruction anywhere else. Training here you will gain confidence (in all things), flexibility, co-ordination & fitness all while learning to defend yourself. I cannot recommend Konjaku Shin enough.

Our youngest son started here in 2014 and since then, every member of our family has joined. This dojo provides fantastic instruction for both children and adults. Everyone who trains are supportive and respectful of one another. I would recommend Sensei Kershaw to anyone who wanted to start their karate journey. Oss.

Absolutely love this dojo. Both myself and my fiancée go as regularly as possible. The people are so kind and helpful to all that come through those doors. The thing that I find most impressive is even when you cannot make it due to work etc no one ever makes you feel like you shouldn’t go back. I would recommend this to anyone who has even the slightest interest in getting fitter or martial arts. Couldn’t wish to find a better place!!!

Trained with sensi Dave Kershaw in the late 80s and 90s and it was a fantastic experience and such a professional approach Met up again last year to Veiw the large well equipped dojo near king Edward Street Grimsby and has always I would recommend anyone looking for a start I’m martial art to pop along and see how it’s done properly
