I like the ambience of the place, tried their fish fritters with mango sauce, very soft and crispy, and affordable as well. The dumplings 🥟 were very Caribbean, and tasted really good with the authentic bean sauce, it’s a nice place to dine in along with good choice of drinks, and the waiter was very sweet too, would love to come back!

3 of us decided to try this diner and I'm so glad we did. starters dumplings with chicken the outer part had a lovely delicate crunch and the inner part was light and fluffy, the chicken filling was very tasty and lovely and moist, jerk chicken wings very spicy and the meat fell off the bone, vegetable patties very flaky outer and a mix of spiced veggies all very good, mains I had the goat curry with rice and beans the meat again lovely and moist with lots of flavour , chicken curry off the bone again lots of flavours and colours again with rice and beans a good ratio of beans to rice, the last one southern style chicken with plain white rice really good crunch and flavours on the outer and the chicken very moist and tasty. Drinks 1orange juice and 2 rum punches all freshly made and presented with a slice of pineapple all very tasty. The diner itself was lovely and clean and tidy very well kept and looked after, our waitress Sian was very welcoming and happy to help I most definitely recommend you try here you won't be disappointed.

What an experience, 3 of us ate here tonight, we shared chicken wings, vegetable patie and chicken dumplings for starters the flavours are amazing. Mains were curry goat, curry chicken served with rice & peas and Southern fried chicken with plain rice really flavoursome,spicy but not over powering. The rum punch was great too as was the orange juice for the designated driver. Sian our server gave time, space and advice. What a great place we will definitely be going back again

I tried this restaurant for the first time last night having wanted to go for a while now. I’m glad to say I wasn’t disappointed! I had the ackee and saltfish with a side of plantain and my wife had the curry goat and a side of dumplings. All of it was absolutely delicious, all freshly made to perfection. Having tried other Caribbean takeaways in Leeds I can definitely say that Kokobay is well worth a visit. The staff are all very friendly and the food and drink are really reasonably priced too!
