Love this place and my dogs favourite walk. Can be muddy at this time of year but you can usually find a dryish path to follow. Lots of wildlife at the moment. Alas much of the isolation and charm is likely to be lost when Welbourne gets going Dog-friendliness: Lovely place for an off lead walk in safety

Was a lovely place just a shame its been left to run down... Great for running my dogs in tho, with no interference from other people Picnic area: There are some park benches if you really wanted to stop there.

Popped in today... such a shame... the place looks like its gone to rot.... some grass cut some not but can understand the nature part of that... benches could do with a good clean and varnish... it all just looks messy, such a shame aboout the tree that was cut out of 2 horses, really hard to tell what it is now...I'm surprised the travellers haven't moved in yet!!!!

A hidden gem tucked away at the end of Mayles lane. There is a good sized carpark. Large nature reserve with pond. Plenty of benches for having a picnic. Really nice carvings to see too. You can hire the area for a private function for donations to the charity that does the upkeep . They provide use of toilets too.
