Lovely place but very highly overpriced, considering its not organic. Tge service is slow , especially in the cafe. Chickens roam free. I am visting durham on joks from liverpool. I go to an organic farm shop with organic neat and produce. Which i aldo feed to my 2 pugs. My own farm shop in liverpool is a lot cheaper than here.

Went today & man o man what a fantastic place, . Plenty of parking, but beware to turn left b4 the barns into the carpark. Otherwise, you end up in the farm yard... i didn't take any pictures of the courtyard as ppl were eating & looked like they were eating plates fullof local food..we bought a number of items from the farm shop ourselves..gets a 12/10 from me, definitely worth a visit but would imagine it gets very busy at times..

Finding Balance
Visited here for the first time. Sadly didn’t have time to stay and eat but it looked lovely. Seating area outdoors as well as indoors. Dog friendly. Will definitely be back to have lunch.. We actually went for the farm shop which did not disappoint. Lovely choice of local produce and items from other farms/artisans. The staff looked very proud of their produce and rightly so! Bought some Cumberland sausage made on site and some yummy looking burgers! Will be back for sure. Large car park. Slightly tricky to get to as the lane to the farm is only wide enough for 1 vehicle.

Called in to get fruit and veg and salad... not much salad stuff and the only fruit was grapes. I was hoping to get strawberries and blueberries. Veg was fresh and plenty of what I needed.

lovely Farm Shop, the sausage rolls and Corned beef pasty were some of the best we have had. We bought some corned beef from the deli which is home made and in another league. Lots of other lovely items on sale, we will stop in on our way home. The butcher counter looks great too. Visited again on our way home, We bought some items from the Deli and meat from the counter. All fabulous quality lovely friendly helpful staff. We will definitely pop in next time we are in the area.
