    Appointment booking system is terrible, don’t expect to get through on your first and second attempt, be prepared to wait an hour just to book. Needs to be sorted out!

    I have a diagnosis from my doctors in my country and ran out of medication. Spoke to a couple of GP’s who said once I provided proof they could issue me an emergency prescription for 5 days until my own prescription got here from Portugal. So I sent all the proof they’d requested. A day later I was woken up by GP Bourton saying I had to do the diagnosis in this country and until then they couldn’t do anything. I was shocked. She didn’t even hear me she was so focused on saying I need an nhs doctor to call me then do this and that. A week later and nobody has even called. What she failed to understand is that I needed that emergency medication this week ONLY. When the doctor eventually calls most likely next year I will have the pleasure to tell him all of this too. Dr. Rebeca Goldsmith and another GP whose name I don’t remember are very good. Dr burton and some Indian sounding lady in the reception are completely dismissive.

    Where to begin. Clinical negligence at its finest. The GP I spoken to yesterday had no regard to my current health situation and acted entitled. I waited from 12 noon until 6:00pm for my telephone appointment with an individual called Dr Louwrens, she didn’t call until almost 1 hour after they close. She refused to accept the transfer documents from my previous GP saying it looks like I wrote it myself on a word document. I need my medications as I’ve gone 8 days without them already and the withdrawal symptoms are awful and is literally making me feel like I’m dying. She didn’t care, saying she needs my transfer documents first and that I’m old enough to deal with it? Like who speaks to a patient like that. Secondly, got the transfer documents sent to them and they are saying they didn’t receive it despite my previous GP receiving confirmation they had received it. The staff here then put me on hold for 10 minutes only to answer saying what’s the query?! Like put me on hold for 10 minutes and they don’t know what they’re doing?! Then some “reception manager” answered the phone saying she is going around in circles even though they’re the ones not doing their job and hung up on me! Now they are not answering the phone when I call back…. The annoying GP I spoke to from here said to send the documents to her asap and book an appointment that week yet the “reception manager” said I can’t get get an appointment for 14 days despite needing to sort this out asap…. And then hung up on me. Like why the hell work here if you are going to be so negligent. If you want an easy money job where you don’t listen to patients leave and do something else. Patients health is at risk here. Lastly, when you do manage to speak to a semi-decent staff member they ask you what’s wrong and then tell you to go to A&E instead of helping
