We regularly make a special trip to Northallerton (from Darlington) just to call at Kitsons for their wonderful warm pork pies fresh from the oven. I love pork pies and have eagerly tried them from all over the UK, but have honestly not found any that compare to Kitsons. We feel very lucky to have them (almost) on our doorstep. My favourite variety is the pork and orange marmalade one - delicious! 😋😋

The stand pie I ordered had a soggy base and the jelly was not great had to put half in the bin but I would of put the whole pie in bin as it was tasteless, I received as a gift a apple and pork pie had to though it in the bin it was wet and tasteless. Shocking really for the price 11

Always loved Kitsons pork pies they are always fresh baked from the oven always still warm .. however just purchased 3 today for lunch and how disappointing! Cold, obviously been refrigerated and totally tasteless! Kitsons you’ve let me down we’re gutted!!!

I have just purchased and am in the process of eating a pork pie manufactured by a well known Lincolnshire firm ! So l cut the top off and ate the lid ! Very nice, then added apple sauce and put in the oven hoping to recreate the taste of kitsons pork and apple 🍎 tastes ok but nothing compares to the pork pie from kitson,s of Northallerton, can't wait to come back and feast on 2 or 3 ! Popped in last thing on Friday on a whimsical desire for a Sat morning fry up. Kitsons smoked back bacon and their pork sausages are amazing. I enjoy a high-end sausage and these were among the best I’ve tasted.

Visited Northallerton from South shields yesterday. Was advised to check out the pies at kitson's. Bought 2 mince and 2 pork and egg, great taste and quality can highly recommend them. Lady that served me was chatty and very friendly, great experience. I will definitely be back again soon 👍👍👍

Pork pies £1.75 of gristly fat, euuughhh! never again. Ask for a 1lb of steak mince and end up buying 6oz more than you wanted. Always a queue but I won't be in it again ... ever!
