Kist cottage, what a delight! a small cottage but spacious and comfortable inside and spotlessly clean. This let was the best equipped holiday cottage I have ever used, the vendors thought of everything from fire logs to spare bin liners. The cottage inside was perfect for our family of four plus dog and the views outside were stunning (front and back); birds soaring over the churchyard below, amazing views to Dungeness and the everchanging sea. We happily just sat cosily indoors just looking out when the weather was bad. When it was good there was plenty to see and do within walking distance; lovely walks about the castle, mooch along the high street, beach walks, catch the train to Dymchurch and Dungeness.... One week was not long enough!

Thank you Rob and Jan for a lovely relaxing break. We had a great time exploring Hythe and the surrounding area despite the cold weather. Cottage was lovely and warm to come home to and is really well equipped with everything to hand. Thanks again

Fabulous cottage in a great location just a short walk from the high street. Really well decorated and equipped. Lovely views to the sea from the living room and main bedroom. The weather was awful during our stay with gales and driving rain but the cottage was extremely warm and with the wood burner going was a wonderful place to relax

Kits Cottage is a wonderful setting perched over the vibrant Kent town of Hythe with stunning views over the Channel. Even in January we could sit out on the front patio in the evening with a glass of wine looking out to the distant lights of Boulogne. Sheer bliss. The cottage is clean, modern and very comfortable with everything you require for a relaxing holiday vacation. The kitchen is superbly equipped and the bathroom spotlessly clean. It is a perfect base to explore the south east Kent coastline. Owner Rob was always available to answer any question that cropped up and was a pleasure to deal with. We will definitely return and are already recommending Kits Cottage to our family and friends. Roger & Gail January 2022.

Beautifully presented cottage in a great position overlooking Hythe and the sea. You are able to see over to France as well as east and west along the Kent coast. The cottage is ideally placed both for visiting Hythe and its surrounding attractions on foot, as well as driving further afield to a variety of attractions. You can enjoy the dramatic coast as well as beautiful Kentish countryside. The local shops are worth visiting and the local eating places are very good, the White Hart is well worth a visit. Staying a few days, or a week as we did, you will find plenty to do or just spend time relaxing and unwinding .

I stayed with my dog in this gorgeous cottage overlooking Hythe for 1 week at the beginning of November. The checking in process was pretty straightforward, a turn of a key i was presented with a lovingly restored accommodation with all home comforts to ensure a wonderful stay. The kitchen is well equipped; able to rustle up a quick meal or more substantial fare, which i did most evenings with a glass of wine enjoyed in a separate dining room. Beds are super comfy; had the best nights sleep in a long time! The front of the cottage has far reaching views of the sea and surrounding area and you can see the French coastline! with table and chairs available which in warm weather having breakfast looking at the view would be wonderful, At the back of the house there is a very pretty tiered garden, again table and chairs are available. It is an easy walk into the centre of Hythe with its high street full of independent shops, public transport, 3 supermarkets and fabulous coastal walks, and of course the steam railway station! During my stay the weather was mixed, with very cool evenings, but not an issue as the cottage has a super efficient central heating system and a log burner which made it very cosy. This cottage will go on my list as one to return to, which i will do in 2020. highly recommended
