I can’t say enough good things about Kitchen Provisions at Coal Drops Yard. I recently stopped by for the first time having made an online order previously as I wanted to upgrade my whetstones but wasn’t sure what to go for. The staff member I spoke to was incredibly helpful, guided me through different options and really helped me land on a setup that is perfect for my application without any excess or unnecessary expenditure. The store has a fantastic range of the most amazing kitchenware and the setting in Coal Drops Yard is really nice which is a bonus. I’ll absolutely be back in the future and would highly recommend the store to anyone.

I booked a knife sharpening course with Kitchen Provisions. It was a 1:1 lesson with Jun Chew. What a great session. He explained the construction of different types of knives and then explained the theory behind sharpening and finally we both sharpened knives. Really interesting and engaging 90 minutes and Jun is a complete star.

I agree with the other reviewer to note that this is a total hidden gem. They are an independently owned shop, specializing in unique hand forged knives, but they also offer ton of other little kitchen tools that you didn’t know you needed! They offer knife sharpening as well, though I have never used the service. If you’d like to cook, and are particular about your knives, or maybe you like unique kitchen things, or need a gift for someone who loves to cook, this is a great place to find some thing! Definitely worth a visit.

A lovely independent establishment with very high quality produce at a decent price! The shop is always well stocked and it’s a great place to find gifts for people as everything there feels rather unique, and the crockery and glassware is beautiful.
