Charlie did a brilliant job of replacing my cupboard doors, drawer fronts, handles, side panels, giving me a new cupboard and drawer set, lovely new sink and inserting a new cooker hood. Delighted with his work and Kitchen Magic were brilliant to deal with so helpful and friendly and kept me informed from beginning to end. Would definitely recommend. Made an order then cancelled after changing our minds after weighing up the cost and not actually getting what was wanted and a local firm could do much cheaper. They took initial deposit then a few days later took another random amount even though it had been verbally cancelled. Rang again told we must use yellow form to cancel and send recorded delivery did all that they claim they've not had this is at least 8 weeks ago, can't get through to a manager of accounts. They now want a letter of cancellation won't accept an email. Trading standards getting informed on Monday might give rougue traders an email. Shocking customer service lord knows what that their after care is like. Service: Kitchen cabinet door replacement

Some time ago my wife and I had a hand built kitchen installed in the house, beautiful!!!! , after a good few years we decided to have them updated , and you’ve guessed it, Kitchen Magic was our choice, when the fitter arrived it all looked good until he started the work , he split the existing framework with over sized screws , the doors were all at different levels , the laminate on the doors were rippled etc , when I complained to the Manager in Birmingham I was told in no uncertain terms that if I was to take them to court over this work I would loose, and to top it all the white units I paid for have now turned yellow in colour , it was an awful experience , you have my permission to publish this article…. I decided not to use this company after seeing all the awful reviews online and sent my cancellation form by recorded delivery back to them and when I called to find out if they received it the person who I spoke to who said her name was Dee said promptly that they hadn't received it without checking and I caught her out by letting her know that I'd sent it by first class signed for post the day before and that it was signed for by Ryan.. She then quickly said the post was still in the factory and had not been opened yet and still lied to me that the post hadn't arrived yet. I sent the cancellation form by signed for delivery as I knew she would lie and say it wasn't received. I just hope it doesn't take them 14 days to refund my deposit as I had a lucky escape not going with this company. Can someone please tell me if they had to wait 14 days to get a refund? Fortunately found out how unprofessional and shabby the service was before having anything done. First surveyor failed to show due to breakdown of vehicle but company contacted me to tell me which was great. Second time round I waited for surveyor to turn up but didn’t arrive. No-one rang me to tell me what was happening so I rang them to be told surveyor was still with previous client. I was told that client wouldn’t appreciate being interrupted for the surveyor to tell me he would be late. Customer service - appalling. I could have been a future client. What a way to treat someone potentially interested!! Finally re-arranged for another surveyor to turn up on yet another day. This was weeks ago and I’ve still not received any quote. I’m not bothered but I strongly recommend not to use this appalling company. Try Howdens instead - there kitchens are lovely and affordable but you need to select your own fitter. DO NOT USE KITCHEN MAGIC. Nothing magic about their service.
