A lovely cottage in a quiet village setting. Plentiful space for a family and a great rear garden to play in for the kids. A beautiful hamper was awaiting us on our arrival - which was consumed greatly over the week ! Thank you for the team for making it a lovely , relaxing and peaceful stay. Lovely walks all within reach and a bakery and pub nearby.

We had a fantastic stay at Kirkbride Hall. The accommodation is wonderful. Everything is very high quality, with thoughtful touches such as the welcome hamper and the useful folders with lots of helpful information. The hall is in a great location, close to both the Lake District and North Pennines, and with a local pub and cafe within walking distance.

Had a fantastic stay at Kirkbride Hall. The house and garden are wonderful. It just had a lovely feel as soon as we arrived. The only reason we aren’t giving 5 stars is that we have dogs and the weather was awful (didn’t spoil anything though) so the dogs were very muddy even just nipping in the garden. There are no doors downstairs and we found it stressful keeping the dogs from going Into the living room and dirtying the sofas etc. The living room could very easily have doors and we think it would really benefit both clients but also the owners as it would be easier to keep muddy dogs out 🐾 I would also like to say we had Lynn Hilditch come over and cooked a meal for us. She’s on the Rowley Estate website. She was fantastic and the experience really added to our stay.
