So disappointed with Nige and his garage, took my van in for a full service last week and whilst waiting Nige told me there had been damage done previously to my fuel filter housing and they'd had difficulties changing the actual fuel filter ( I had to take their word on this even though the van was fully serviced by British Gas. ) On my service record under Fuel Filter, good was ticked and no future work was needed. Nige said that perhaps the next time a service was done, the housing should also be changed but don't worry it's all good and in working order and they've successfully changed the filter and I can be on my way. Happy days I thought! A few days later I'm broken down by the road side with diesel pouring out of said Fuel filter housing! I called a well known very reputable breakdown recovery firm whose mechanic told me that, in his opinion, the fuel filter tabs were broken off and the whole installation was a complete bodge job and really poor workmanship. ( luckily it was diesel and not petrol as I would have gone up in flames, see photos for the amount of spillage as the filter housing was literally hanging off! ) In my humble opinion this is when Nige's story telling and manipulation of the truth really takes off! Nope, his garage won't take responsibility for the work done as he tried to twist his words! The mechanic from the breakdown company doesn't know what he's talking about and is not a proper mechanic??? The brand new Fuel filter isn't broken, then why replace it with another one? Sorry Nige, a simple sorry would have been good start and ownership of the problems caused. I'm sorry but I wouldn't recommend this garage Service: General repairs & maintenance

Amazing service by the team and Kinsley garage. I came in with a coolant leak on my skoda citigo right before Christmas and was worried that I won't have a car ready to travel over the holidays. But thankfully the team at Kinsley acommodated us. Had the problem identified and solved within 2 days. The cost are transparent and afterservice is great. Amazing experience, will highly recommend and definitely returning for future car issues. Service: Auto water leak repair

I bought a new car from a trader in London, soon found out that the car I had bought came with a broken engine, took the car to Kinleys garage, where Nige spent time going over everything, but the sad fact was that the engine needed replacing, at that point Nige really took off, he sorted out a reconditioned engine from Ford, fitted it along with addressing other parts that needed replacing while the engine was out of the car, Nige kept me informed at all stages throughout the repairs, I did not have to do anything, ( stress free) and now I have a car which drives like new, I found Kinleys garage, honest, truthfull and friendly, as well as changing a very reasonable price for the work. I would recommend this garage to anyone looking for a decent job at a fair price. 👍 Service: Engine repair
