My 11 year son came back from his hovel after four days of what he described as prison conditions! He said the food was terrible , he didn’t sleep at all - as the walls were paper thin - he couldn’t adjust the shower temperature - he said The place was filthy and claimed blood stains on his pillows and sheets when he arrived. The beds were rocksolid and extremely uncomfortable- he said they didn’t get anything right - also said that they even ran out of toilet paper and failed to replace it - it’s an absolutely appalling place and should be shut down. Main complaint is with the accommodation it seems like the activities were okay He was also woken up at ridiculously early hours and didn’t sleep as the noise coming through the ceiling from the school group above him He came back completely exhausted and said he would never go back there ever again! The food wasn’t much better either tended to be tasteless watered down and soggy We could do -5 stars we would!! Don’t go !!!

Beautiful place. Has tons of buildings, a lake... And its surrounded by nature. Very easy to arrive from Ashford train station. The atmosphere in the place is great for trainings/academics... I was there 10 days doing a course of audiovisuals and it was great

Just returned after staying there for a weekend kids rugby tour The food is atrocious. Also, accommodation for adults are bunk beds in a dormitory. So if you are an adult accompanying your child and want to sleep, book into the Premier Inn or Travelodge which are 10 mins walk away. Never again. Saying that, the kids has a good time.
