Do not book at this place it is a hostel with builders out of town which is why it is £40 a night i had an employee arrive from a 4 hour train journey was refused entry and kicked out on the street this evening. 0 degrees tried to call them and they were not interested called the police with total fabrication about distubance Absolutely disgusting place and staff will contract trading standards in the morning do not book.

Stayed last night in the family room. Big and spacious but in need of tlc and chilly! Good location as we had a family party in the nearby hockey club! Passing traffic can be heard from the room and not much parking outside, plenty of space down the road! Will be back as had a great breakfast and talked to the hosts who are lovely dedicated people who are genuine and caring 😊

The photos on the website must have been taken 20 years ago- it is nothing like the photos. There is no sign outside so took us a long time to find and nobody we asked knew about this place. I’m not sure why they also insist on cash only. I’m sure they are lovely people, but the outside and in need of a lot of work and investment to bring it up to an acceptable standard.
