A really stunning 1500-acre ancient forest, excellent for dog-walking. Home to a diverse range of wildlife, including fallow deer. There numerous routes through the forest with a sculpture trail. Although the main paths are wide and clear, most trails aren't waymarked. Signs are sparse and we had to use the 'find my car' function to steer us in the right direction. It's worth noting there are no facilities on site or in the free car park. The nearest public toilets are at Taylors Hill, an 8 minute drive away.
