    I usually use a different barber but this one was closer so I thought I'd check it out. When i arrived, I was surprised to find a large steel container shaped box with the sign outside. When the barber got there, I went in to find it was a small box with 3 chairs and some barber supplies. That's it. There was no sink, no bathroom and the place was filthy. I was the first job of the day and the place was littered with yesterdays hair. I wish i had walked out then. I was offered to sit in a chair covered in yesterdays hair. The barber either forgot or didnt know what i had booked in for. I have never had this happen elsewhere, but they were grabbing my face and literally hitting me with the clippers. I know barbers position your head, but he was literally grabbing my face. i came out with my skin red raw from how rough they were. They saw my long beard and asked me if I were religious (???) - it was a very awkward and long experience of just being talked at about religious belief. Wasnt mindful at all that i was not interested in religion myself because when i said so, they got aggressive about it. I left with a beard that was too long and i had to wait outside the box in the cold for my change as they had no till and had to visit a shop to get it. i am a business owner myself and i do not know how anyone runs a business like this - out of a tiny, miserable box in the street with no running water or heating.     Booked appointment with gabs but refused to cut my hair, 3rd time I’ve been other two times he closed half way in the day so 3 wasted journeys wouldn’t recommend makes business seem very unprofessional.

    Took my 10 year old here today after previously going which was fine. On arrival today the chap asked me if we had booked,which I had for 10 00am with Tony. Anyhow the guy carried on cutting the customers hair and after finishing just sat in his chair on his phone ?? I said as it was 10 10 are you going to cut my lads hair ? He said no I can’t do nothing as Tony is not here and it’s not my appointment?? I was like right so why didn’t you say on arrival.He said I can’t do nothing if his not here Absolute joke and would not go here again .Shame as regular barbers there must be on holiday as last time it was Gabs who cut and he was very good. Hi Can you reply as I did send details across etc and would like to kindly take you up on the offer of a haircut with Gabs ? Many Thanks Martin
